The seller has not shipped: what should I check?

Updated Lire en français

The short answer

First confirm that the item was purchased, then check availability of the exact size and colour ordered. A live listing does not prove that every variant is in stock.

Ask the agent who placed the order to contact the seller. You need an answer about your specific variant, rather than a general statement that the shop is operating.

Three things to confirm

  1. Has the seller accepted the order and confirmed stock?
  2. Is the item ready to ship, made to order or a preorder?
  3. What dispatch date did the seller give, and has it passed?

Decide whether to wait or change

Set your own deadline based on when you need the item. If you want to cancel or switch variants, ask the agent about the conditions before buying a replacement. Keep the seller’s reply and the exact order reference to avoid two simultaneous purchases or an unintended size change.

Frequently asked questions

Does a tracking number prove dispatch?

A label can exist before carrier handover. Look for a collection or acceptance event.

Should I immediately buy elsewhere?

Clarify the first order first. A second purchase can become a duplicate if the original seller subsequently ships.
