How do I read a Chinese size chart?
The short answer
Compare the product measurements with a garment that already fits you, using the same measuring points and units. A size letter or your height alone cannot determine a precise fit.
The chart may describe the finished garment or recommended body measurements. Flat width is not circumference: first identify what the seller measured.
Compare the right measurements
- For a top, measure underarm width, shoulder width and length among the relevant points.
- For trousers, compare waist, length and other measurements important to the cut.
- Check units, stated tolerance and whether the measurements describe the garment or the body.
If you are between sizes
Choose according to your preferred fit and reference garment rather than automatically sizing up. A QC measurement photo can confirm a specific dimension if the tape and garment are positioned correctly. For stretchy fabric, ask how the measurement was taken before interpreting a difference.
Now, make it yours.
Open the chat, then paste the chart measurements and those of a reference garment, including their units.

Should I always size up?
No. Cuts and charts vary by product. Compare the measurements.
Are my height and weight enough?
They provide context, but do not describe every body proportion or your preferred fit.
